Ben Clayton is an experienced director & editor based in Farnborough, Hampshire. He has worked in many areas of the film and television industry, from feature films to corporate documentaries.


Ben graduated from the prestigious Bournemouth Film School in 1999, with the year prize for Outstanding Achievement. In 2000 he started his filmmaking career, working as an assistant editor with The Creative Partnership in London. Over a three-year period he worked on over one hundred film trailers, including Love Actually, 28 Days Later, Bridget Jones’s Diary and Dirty Pretty Things.


Recent projects include a cinema trailer for Assassin Creed Revelations and launch trailer for Call of Juarez: The Cartel. Several projects for multinational mining companing Rio Tinto, and a new music video for Atomic Garden. In early 2010 he also worked on a viral campaign for the Liberal Democrats general election campaign. In the past few years Ben has worked on multiple projects with advertising agency Iris Worldwide, for clients like Adidas, Shell & Ferrari, TV spots for the Coen Brothers’ film ‘Burn After Reading’ and Bryan Singer’s ‘Valkyrie’ starring Tom Cruise. On the directing side of things, Ben has produced a second video for The Fins and several corporate films for PelGar International and NEC.
